Changes in BusinessLink software after upgrading from Version 02C to 03A
There will be no visible changes to your BusinessLink system after
upgrading from Version 02C to 03A. However, there are of course many
changes that will be made to the underlying software.
- The ATFM19G library no longer exists. All relevant objects from
ATFM19G and ABL are consolidated into the ABL library. In effect, this
means that all references to the ATFM19G library, in programs or
documentation, should be changed to ABL.
- All internal references to dates have been changed to four digits.
This change will not be visible, for instance, on the "Work with Sent
and Received Files" screen from the ABL menu, which will still display
two digits. The same can be said of BusinessLink Remote's received
files list. The two-digit display was kept for cosmetic reasons and
does not reflect lack of proper date handling.

Changes in BusinessLink software after upgrading from Version 02BIf to 03A
There will be several visible changes to your BusinessLink system after
upgrading from Version 02BIf to 03A. While functionality should remain
the same, various menus and other things will change. In addition,
there are of course many changes that will be made to the underlying
software.
System-wide Changes
- Numerous stability and performance improvements have been made.
iSeries 400-side BusinessLink Changes
- The ATFM19G library no longer exists. All relevant objects from
ATFM19G and ABL are consolidated into the ABL library. In effect, this

documentation, should be changed to ABL.

and "HSM Server" options have been moved into the ABLADM (ABL Administration)
menu.
- The ABLADM Menu has changed. The "HSM Server" options from ABL and
ABLADM have been moved into one central menu item, "Work with HSM Servers".
"Work with Receive File Events" has been moved to ABLADM from ABL.
AB/Remote Client Changes
- The "ASCII/EBCDIC Translation" menu item has been removed. The
functionality of this menu item has been internalized.
